Who We Are

Our Mission

The Diabetes Action Research and Education Foundation (Diabetes Action), a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded in 1990, is committed to the prevention and treatment of diabetes and to the funding of innovative, promising research aimed at finding a cure for diabetes and diabetes related complications.

Diabetes Action is one of the few diabetes organizations to receive an "A" rating. AIP conducts an in-depth, financial analysis of audited financial statements - documents that are indispensable to any charity evaluation since they contain information verified and reported by a third-party outside of the charity itself.

BBB7x10

Diabetes Action meets all of the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance's Standards for Charity Accountability.
