I am interested in reading up on the Diabetes Prevention Trial (DPT) type 2. I seem to find a lot of info on the web for the Type 1 trial but not the Type 2. Can you connect me to some web sites?

I can steer you to the UKPDS: United Kingdom Prospective Diabetes Study. This study is somewhat an equivalent to the DCCT, but addressing Type 2 diabetes. Results were similar: tight control of blood sugars reduced complications.
