Q:
Can diabetes effect the male sex drive?

A:
Absolutely, as can many other conditions, including just being prone to high stress. Out of balance blood sugars can interfere with the metabolism overall, so that many of our physiological responses are out of sync. Before resorting to testosterone supplements, work hard at getting into good nutrient and exercise balance and getting your blood sugars under control. This is always easier said then done, but it is a worthy goal. With some overall lifestyle improvements, there are nutrient supplements that can further assist you to encourage natural hormone production. The next step could be to start a hormone enhancement program with your physician. Remember: when working to achieve balance, it's never about just fixing one piece.
