Q:
I have been advised to take a glucose test in the near future and just wondered what that entailed?

A:
A glucose test involves drinking Glucola -- a 75 gram load of syrupy drink -- then testing your blood sugar every 30 minutes for 2 hours. There are corresponding numbers at each test that constitute "normal"; particularly of interest is the final number. This is also a standard test for women who are around 28 weeks pregnant.
