Q:
My Mother in law has just been diagnosed with diabetes. Her sugar levels fluctuate dramatically. What can cause her sugar to be 300+ and thirty minutes later be under 200?

A:
Usually, this much of a shift in a short period is due to the food(s) eaten. Even 4 oz. of juice is enough to create a blood sugar spike followed by a fast drop. I would suggest, if she is willing, to get some professional diet guidance.
