Q:
Can jet lag cause spikes in blood sugar? What about frequent air travel?

A:
Stress certainly can affect blood sugar. "Jet lag" may disrupt food intake, exercise, and regular sleep patterns which puts our bodies under stress. You may start by carefully tracking lifestyle habits when traveling: are you consuming more juice or sodas, etc? I would also recommend getting dietary guidance from a professional who understands nutritional supplementation support.
